johnathan--

well, then as such a sucessful investor you will endeavor to let us know when you think it is appropriate that we sell our long positions, wont you?

the only way i have found to make money on this company is to trade the calls. if you want to trade the common, fine...go ahead. it just seems to me that you would be much better off with the options.

i am still selling my common. if we hold up just a little tomorrow i will be be profitable on the entire position again. to all the longs, just sell the stock and buy an equivalent number of calls. if it gets bought out, you make a killing. if it doesnt, you only lose the options investment, and you still have the money left over from the sale of the common with which you can BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

who knows, maybe the company will get bought out tomorrow. maybe it will not. if you use the past as a guide, probably not. so, its better to take what we can get now and forget the rest. i dont think there is anything left, and profitablity is far too elusive.

the only thing left here is the hope of a buyout (even zionts has said the numbers on BEL are going to be lower that our estimates), that puts WSTL rather firmly in the realm of pure speculation. pure speculation is best played with options.

good luck to all,
trey

Okay Johnathan,
I give. I relent and agree with Trey. You are a trading GOD and can time each and every tech stock to maximize the full potential. Were not worthy. Why do you even bother with us mortals you trading savy God you? You have the ability to TIME each and every run-up AND have the ability to know when to exit. Surely you MUST be a multi-millionaire by now so why bother with us common folk?
Johnathan, you have contributed nothing to this thread except your assertion that YOU know how to time the tech's. If that's the case my friend WRITE A BOOK! You'll make even more. As far me, Well, I will now click PAST your posts and concern myself with people that have MUCH MORE to contribute than chest pounding. You've lost any and all respect I may have held out hope for you but I do still wish you the best of luck, You'll need it!
