Deke, don't re-evaluate. Same crap! Placed order 5 min no isld representation or fill. 3min to cancel. Melissa this is realtime today feel free to check it out and respond. I repeat this is not,is not,is not,is not a residual e-mail. Folks keep posting, there lies to the media will catch up to them. By the way Ms. spokesperson your problems at the open have been going on since inception and are not a technical glitch. Once you recieve my order is it still my browser that fails to get me a fill? Datek hire a competent technical advisor before you blow it.

Once again I'm experiencing the same problems getting marketable orders filled, today. Nothing has been fixed. Specifically, I am short PECX and noticed that it was down a lot, so I should cover part of my position. The ASK price was 5 3/4, so I placed an order to buy 3,500 at 5 3/4. The Datek message board shows this order entry: Buying 3500 shares of PECX at 5 3/4. Tracking#: C-200-AAAT-3613 11/11/98 09:37:48 Over 5 minutes pass, and still there's no fill. At 09:44:45 I check a realtime quote and the ASK is still 5 3/4, but still I cannot buy at 5 3/4. Finally at 09:45:21 I am filled for 1,000 shares and I check another realtime quote, at 09:46:21, it's 5 9/16 BID and 5 7/8 ASK. Here's another Datek problem. My buy order is a bid of 5 3/4. Why is the best bid showing only 5 9/16? My order should be receiving representation but it is not. It's lost in cyber space. This is a specific example of the problems that I experience every day on Datek. Nothing has been fixed or improved.
