Robert,

I follow a basket of tech stocks, some I own now, some I have owned in the past. They include all the big names such as LU, IBM, MSFT, INTC, DELL, etc plus some smaller names.

Using Excel, I take estimates from Zacks and just crunch some very basic numbers, using mainly a PE/Growth type valuation model. This data is widely available in the many investment websites on the net these days. I have kept up this information for about 3 years. Never during this period had my model been more overvalued than right now.

So it is not whether INTC, MSFT, IBM etc are good companies or not, the question is what are they worth? I opine that all of them are trading at a level that anticipates nothing but smooth sailing ahead. Needless to say, the global economic condition does not support the complacency. When I asked myself the risk reward ratio, I think I will forgo the reward to avert the risk at this time.

Best of luck to all who are bullish today.
