Savoirman,

You know the key here is timing. We've all been very patient and we're all very glad that Singapore is getting closer. However, in this particular case (because of the 10% per year rule), days do matter. I don't see CREAF buying 10% this year, if they only get 3 or 4 weeks to do so. They'd be foolish because they would end up paying an artificially high price trying to buy back so many shares in such a short time period..and in the end it probably wouldn't be naturally sustainable.

The most irritating thing is that Parliament has already passed the bill but the days are ticking by for CREAF and they aren't able to do anything about it. I believe you when you say there is nothing unusual going on and that it is typical for bills to sit on the Pres's desk for weeks before he signs them. But with a time related bill such as this one awaiting his signature, I would think he could be more responsive and sensitive.

I hope you haven't taken my frustration personally, but it is definitely hard for many of us to understand why it takes weeks to "rubber stamp" a bill. The Singapore government is making CREAF look bad on WS which is about the last thing CREAF needs. Part of the blame is with Sim. He should not have built up any buyback expectations unil AFTER ALL requirements had been cleared.

Good luck and perhaps we can get a momentum reversal today.
