Jim regarding the ATT analogy, I've always thought of Palmer and Digital's Board myself. Street wasn't even interested when DEC was brought below book value with a ton of cash. Took the removal of Plamer and the board via the Compaq buyout to make it pop (although it only popped to about 3/4 of its high!) Think Palmer includes a chart of DEC's stock drop during his tenure with his resume? These guys must be related.

On a positive note, the stock is over the last top (39) it reached when Barrons rumored Condit was on the way out a few months ago. I thought it didn't seem like they were going to bring it over with him still there.
