Mark, I agree that "privatization" of social security will inject liquidity into the markets, and if it is enacted when the S&P is at a lofty 30 PE or so, the market could burst through 10,000. But if our fearless leaders indeed take that step, we could be faced with future calamities if market declines. It depends, of course what portion of SS will be freed to seek higher returns. One thing should be clear to our leaders, when you seek higher returns, you invariably increase the risk of losses.
