Chuck works for DBC which is the firm I buy my data from. I heard from Ira who is on the West Coast and he does not have a problem with @Home. So if Chuck does use @Home I guess he wouldn't have a problem either. I did not think he would use @Home because I thought DBC would provide their own service, but perhaps not.

It's only with the SI access. No sooner does 9:30 EST roll around than suddenly my response drops to 5 to 10 minutes. No kidding, really.

I don't doubt that Chuck and everyone across the country are doing okay, but Options Jerry lives back East and has a similar problem. It's not just me.

As I was saying to someone else, I wish I owned the stock so I could sell it; it would make me feel better. Other than that there isn't much I can do. The problem only started a few days ago. Another SI member sent along a patch to speed it up but it's for a PC and won't execute on a Mac.

If I can dig up the phone number I'll call them up but from what I have heard it's beyond anyone's control.
