Yes but it's hear say. No facts just you saying it's true.

LT - it's not a funny coincidence - it's that so much of what you post is fallacious that your credibility has to be called into question. The fact that most of your posts happen to be negative about Dell leads one to a rather simple conclusion about your motive.

Mr. K.

Lucretius, for your edification you might try looking at the conversation that Gregory Mullineaux and I had concerning Dell's growth just about a week ago. Greg's position was essentially that Dell could expect to grow at around 20% per year. Greg said that he thought that many Dell shareholders would not be satisfied with those returns. I analyzed the basis of his conclusions mathematically, and concluded that the stock would be expected to grow at between 18% and 22% over the next five years provided that Dell did not expand its offerings. AlanH, hardly a bull had some negative comments about Dell's prospective growth and long-term sustainable growth within the industry. Then there were the very negative criticisms I made of using stock options as surrogates for cash salaries. David Stern, a Dell bear, posts here from time to time. Never have his opinions been characterized as bogus. None of these discussions (as well as others of a negative nature) were derided. In fact all of these comments were taken seriously by the thread because they were either based on factual, verifiable sources, or were the result of serious analysis.

I still remember your "information" about Dell slowing or stopping shipments from suppliers in Texas because business was slowing. How else does one characterize this as bogus. I characterized your information as bogus because it proved to be totally false. How would you characterize it? Now your latest "information" concerning the level of sales is highly suspect.

There may be a lot of cheerleading on this thread, but there are a lot of serious people with serious interests who post here. You could respect that by providing serious information.

TTFN,
CTC
