Microsoft's production costs are approximately zero

I think that is referring to the cost of producing a box package, including CDs and boxes. But the cost of producing a software isn't cheap. That is exactly my point. From last quarter report, MSFT spent $611M on R&D, that is about $2.4B a year. That is not approximately zero, if that figure really was 0, then their earning would be $2.4B more and stock price would be $50 higher. Oh my, think about it, $160 and another split. :-) This is still an investment forum, right?
