Lucretius: Your "overproduction" argument (presented at 9:24 AM this morning) was borrowed, almost verbatim, from Fleckenstein (on CNBC) ...

Three weeks ago, supposedly, your "source" at Dell warned you about "salesman not meeting their quota".....almost exactly (the reported rumor) on CNBC a couple days earlier...

Hmmmm?

Do you just repeat everything you hear...or do you actually do any original analysis here?

By the way, I loved your post the other day....now your "source(s)" (plural!) at Dell tell you that they will make the number....Hey Luke, if you do have sources (which I doubt), and they did tell you that (which I doubt), what they are doing is highly illegal and unethical...Are you going to justify taking such information....And, indeed, if these sources are so good...how come you weren't smart enough to take advantage of this on the upside this year...Doesnt add up, my friend..

Not Dell's inventory, though. If the other guys overproduce, too bad for them. It's just another clear sign that Dell is trouncing the competition. Now Compaq is "really" going to go direct. Ha! Time to short CompUSA if you haven't already...
