I don't think the change in reporting date is anything to worry about. Remember, Ciena changed their quarterly reporting to conform their fiscal year with Tellabs. Even though the merger cratered, there was no reason to go back to the old date. I'm pretty sure that's the reason why it's a month later. Anyway, the reporting date has been on their website for at least two months now. It was not a recent change that should set off alarm bells. Doughboy.
