No tanking happening here. Several chart indicators have been pointing to take profit. Fast moving average, upper bollinger band and a couple of others give faint signals to take profit. BUT with a capital B, this is a limited sell signal imo. That is looking back at past trading trends this is a proper move. If your time frame is held to a minimum. That is sell last Monday evening Tuesday morn and look to buy back real soon.
Your right that it's day trading that's happening, average trade size is squat. But I'm not sure about disappointments with the pending PMA. Day traders are aware of the PMA and they too, don't want to miss an opportunity it may provide.
I though of selling a few hundred shares to play with but have been using this market high to sleep in mornings and stay out late.)

Have a Day;

Dave

Sylvester, here's my opinion...

What has happened here is that we expected a lot of buying by the ophthalmologists attending AAO. It turns out that the company chose to offer stock in a private placement to the attendees of the meeting. It is a $10M placement and is offered in 50K share chunks. Therefore, most major investors are not buying in the open market because they can buy it at a 20% discount in the private placement. Now if it is oversubscribed, we might expect that they will go into the market and buy what they were not able to get in the placement.

Keep the faith. The stock will move up on the completion of the filing of the PMA, the placement by FDA of the PMA on a Panel meeting agenda (which occurs early February for the March 11 & 12 meeting), and recommendation by the panel for approval by the FDA. The Panel meeting recommendation will be a big move in price. Then, IMO, FDA will give a fast track approval to the safe alternative to LASIK for hyperopia and we will see another move in SNRS price. After that we will see upward moves for each quarter reporting new highs in sales and earnings.

But I think you already know all this.

Regards,

Joe
