Something has to be up with WSTL. I don't know if it's another contract that they are going to get or the LU pact/buyout, or if TI is going to be releasing their DMT soon which WSTL has first dibbs on?? Can anyone say what is up. This is more than just speculation. Speculation causes a gain and then goes down, similar to PAIR last week from 10 all the way to 15+ in one day, now back to 10+! Westell has been consistently in an upward trend which would lead me to believe that it is fact rather than speculation. It seems as if someone is acquiring the shares (Even avg volume has seen at least a 4x increase!)... Please post if you know something... this could be big!

<Clearly the market is rotating and ADSL is getting more favorable attention. I don't think this is due to better management.>

Hi Michael, not much they can do. RBOCS suck. What kills me about all this it the truck roll garbage. Roll the damn truck boys because you are about to get the kind of screwing you have given. Mike, Im a firm believer in give em what they ask for. Sure must be some kind of wireless service they plan on offering. Wonder what century...

<“The broadband access market is all about momentum,” said Westell CEO Marc Zionts. “The cable modem folks have it because of the AT&T/TCI deal which captured a lot of attention. It's going to take some successful deployments of DSL with significant subscriber growth to grab that momentum back.”>

<“That's a nice way to get the service started and show good penetration rates, but it may not be the best way to create a mass market industry,” said Bill Rodey, vice chairman of the ADSL Forum.>

Same mag,

Which is it?

<“For years, we've been saying, ‘It's coming,'” Rodey said. “With a lot of excitement, we can finally say, ‘It's here.'”>
