otot plse add my name to the feb dinner, n cal. thx. ..and thx again to everyone. btw good luck with yr margin prob. if you're interested i could show you the advantages of trading. it's not like many think it is. in my case i may have a slight advantage, because i have a huge loss carryforward from years in the real estate buiness, but trading at just the right time, can absolutely give you the liquidity you have spoken about, if and when the stock tanks--temporarily. there is absolutely nothing disloyal or crazy about trading this stock. and the way the stock acts is DEFINITELY changing. many will be afraid to hold over the next few days. if they had prepared themselves with access to market maker windows, you end up really on top of things, in terms of really seeing inside the market flows--that is those which pertain to this stock... people might be really surprised to see how really few indicators it takes, to gracefully and profitably trade this stock. and when you get into it, you are just glancing at the screen--while you're doing all those other things which apparently you are super good at!! i'm even thinking of setting up a trading room for visitors, at a convenient place near 280 near city college, because it would be fun to get more going on this--then they do it at their own place..its a piece of cake, and one hell of alot less complicated than what you are trying to do now....I at the same time, will definitely be heavily in options, but for whatever reasons, i won't be doing it until i obtain some kind of what i think of as a graphical interface, which makes options as comfortable and easy for me to trade, as the underlying stock now is for me...and mind you, i haven,t "traded" at all in eight days...just took an extremely leveraged strategic position at that time...but one doesn't just do that and go on vacation...anyway, we all have our own path to putting it all together...i just hate to see some of the unnecessary struggles...the thread is doing a great job of getting more people interested in options (from my point of view), which of course will (my passion) eventually slow down or stop many of the mm games...time for my favorite breakfast place...see you all later...
