>>> Why are they the enemy?

Because they are bribes.

>>> How large is too large?

Anything more that a dedicated but poor person would give to their church or synagogue? Say, a hundred bucks. You pick the exact number.

>>> Those contributors merely split up the funds into smaller parcels as some companies and organizations did and reimburse their employees and members.

Send them to jail as we used to do.

>>> What about contributions of time, advertising, etc. by political action committees?

If billionaires pay the 'volunteers' or PACS to do that, it would be illegal. If billionaires roll up their sleeves are volunteer personally, hooray. I'd like to see them going door to door. If anybody else does, hooray for them too. Part of democracy, that.

If they pay for ads that support a candidate or party, arrest them.

>>> It's tough to jail people when the ruling party is in power...

I guess you are talking about my statement that the RNC guys are already in jail. Actually, I think the evidence there was a little more clear, but I agree that there are probably some folks involved in the Chinese and Indonesian connections that should do time. I do not believe the repubs dropped the ball on this, so if there is good untainted evidence maybe they will do time. Is there a statute of limitations on this, does anybody know, and what is it?
