David, I agree with the grain of salt approach. I half expected to get some replies that were totally upbeat and I'm glad I didn't - just goes to show the quality of the people on this thread. The other item that should be of interest is the product mix... if the sales are higher due to sales of chips for sub-$1K computers (holiday season), then earnings may not be all that ahead of what the analysts thought yesterday (lower margins). This may bode well for SEG and the industry, or may not. You are correct in your notion...the holiday sales season will be the telling factor. I just hope the DD's aren't ramping up production too much. Scott.
