Let's see, from the conference call, Intel did pass on the question of how much capital spending they would do in 1999. I'm sure the AMAT, etc., holders of the world would like to hear that answered. AMAT did take a nice pop today also, though. :-) Also in the conf. call, Paul Otellini declined to estimate anticipated Katmai ramp next year, said (my notes): - Joe Moore...Katmai ramp? Paul said would be slower than was
PMMX ramp. He also said that, at the analysts meeting in
November, "they may get that info out of me" (chuckle).


So, let's see if this does come up, and come out.
