mm -

Unbelievable market reaction. Spoon feeding required here. Internet everyone now knows and its hot and it means $$$$$$. But CDMA wireless huh what does that mean.

Micro.... who? Are they in the internet business.....software...huh not interested.

Qual ....what? Mobile phones? .....do they do internet? No ....huh not interested.....

Dow what? Is it in the internet business ? No ......huh not interested.

Internet stocks are the only things to buy. Forget P/E' in the hundreds forget earnings, forget revenues, all you need to know to become rich is one word ....the word that's on everyones lips form Al Gore to the Queen of England and that word is:-

INTERNET

It is all that counts, the only thing left to invest in in the entire world. Forget Japan and the Far East, forget all emerging countries.... in fact forget all coutnries....forget your grandparents, your parents you brothers and sisters and cousines and concentrate on the only thing that has value:-

THE INTERNET

go home or don't go home ...it doesn't much matter as long as you are on-line.

But wait Q and MSFT are teaming up to do INTERNET!!!!

Ah........ why didn't you say so earlier. I wish I'd have got in at $56..............

Regards,

L

MM - As I stated before the price for Startac CDMA without a contract is $499

Thanks for the press release, but I am not sure this really qualifies as 'list price' (i.e. unsubsidized) even though it comes without a contract. As has been mentioned in the past, CDMA phones are somehow locked to a particular service provider - although I've forgotten the particular mechanism at this point. I believe you cannot just buy that Startac from Cellular One and go to Sprint PCS. Thus I believe that $499 is still a subsidized price - not that there is anything wrong with this except that it makes it hard to compare to the Q phone price. The only way to get true list prices is from retail shops that sell nationwide, or perhaps by buying direct from the manufacturer if that is an option.
