Thanks Ed. Excellent article. I am astonishingly ignorant of the nuts and bolts...needs and hardware details of networks. As I wait for AXC to explode or implode, I will begin my slow education as to what exactly is used for certain functions and what may be needed in the future. May come in handy later. Ed, no offense, but, this really is grasping at straws. AXC's only chance to survive is to find a niche that they can obtain high margins in. The mainstream data storage market isn't it. All the heavy hitters are there now or will be there shortly. AXC just doesn't have the $, R&D talent, sales channel or marketing to even get on the radar screen.
