Dave, CDNW has an exclusive agreement with YHOO, but the MSN takes on multiple players. It features 5 online music stores, including a small outfit by the name of ShopPBS, the others besides Ktel are AMZN, NTKI's Music Blvd, and Tower Records. What it means is it costs less to be on the MSN than other portals under exclusive agreement. And that's probably how Ktel can afford to get on the MSN.

Unlike AMZN, CDNW, or NTKI, Ktel does not have a rich cash cushion to promote Ktel Express. Its operation is funded solely by the CEO who sold more than 2 million shares recently from the 30s, all the way down to $9.

AMZN launched its music store in June and raked in more than $15 MM in music sales. Ktel Express was launched in May but has generated insignificant revenues. Incidentally, MediaMetrix publishes the top ten shopping sites each month, and MSN was never one of them.

Regards,

Tom
