The price cuts come on the eve of a new direct buying program for small and medium-sized businesses AS WELL AS the release of new Presario computers based around K6-2 processors from AMD, sources said.

The direct buy product line has nothing to do with the Presario line. The article was referring to two different product lines.

Good report, Yougang ... BTW, I missed all those 380Mhz and 400Mhz K6-2
systems. I did see a number of 400Mhz and 450Mhz PII systems. I guess
AMD is having more difficulty than all the "hints and winks" would lead
people to believe.
