JLA I think for practical purposes your candidate will have to be extremely attractive to overcome the military record if the subject ever comes up. For that reason, I suggest Elizabeth Dole. She didn't dodge any draft, being female, and has her head screwed on right, far as anyone can tell. Plus she can actually run things, apparently. Although, I discovered when I tried to donate blood to central america this week that they don't allow targeted blood donations, blood banking, or give anyone free blood anymore. So, I called Red Cross disaster relief and gave money instead. The Red Cross seems to have become a real unimaginative beaurocracy under Dole, coasting on it's old rep. Still, she runs it successfully. And she ran a department of government. That's more than 90% of the male candidates can say about their management experience. I say put her up there in NH, soon. Chaz
