(Nov. 11) BUSINESS WIRE -Nov. 11, 1998--ActionTec Electronics Inc., a leading manufacturer of data communications and wireless products, today announced that Dell Computer has selected ActionTec to supply the customized 56k-capable V.90/K56flex modem built into Dell's recently announced Inspiron 7000. Eliminating compatibility issues, the completely customized modem is configured and ready to go with the system. The first Dell notebook computer to offer a standard built-in modem, the Dell Inspiron 7000 is Dell's top performing multimedia notebook, providing the full power of a desktop computer.
