the bug can't explain it, just go back to Oct 13th and see how this all started, I own some Intel, I was pretty happy with the 3rd qtr results and since Intel is a bellweather I posted on this thread what Intel had done.

last year's yty eps growth rate was 1%. call that positive if you will. for a stock trading at 25+ times earnings, i find it underwhelming. now, for a stock trading at 2.5 times eps, maybe. iow, if intel was $10.

granted, intel has a good shot at growing earnings at more than 1% going forward. however, they haven't yet and this release didn't indicate whether they would or not. the headline didn't say "record earnings." there is a reason ;-)

better than bankruptcy, though. so, if that is your starting point, i guess 1% growth is a positive ;-)
