To all, There is inherent risk in the stock market, especially for those investing over short time horizons. Tim, has put out various stocks in the past on this thread. XYLN, KNT, NEWZ, etc. I did NOT invest in one of these stocks based on his postings. In fact, the only of these stocks I have ever owned has been, and currently is XYLN. I bought XYLN at 28+ several months ago. I have averaged down, and did buy some shares after he posted XYLN on this board. However, at no point did I buy on his recommendation. I bought XYLN with a target price based on my research and analysis of the fundamentals. If/when the stock gets to the level I feel it is worth, I will sell. If not, oh well, I guess I have to hold it for another day. Buying a stock on someone elses recomendation is irresponsible. I have learned from my mistakes in the BB's that you can trust noone. You can follow leads and do your own DD, but you can blame noone for buying, or not selling except for yourself. You control your mouse, or the phone, so take responsibility for your actions or lack there of. It really sucks when people lose money investing in the markets, but it is part of the "game". Stop blaming Tim. There have been many people posting picks on this thread for sometime now. The weekly contest, etc. It was a nice way to find out a little about some new companies, and do some DD. I blame noone for any trade I have made good or bad except for myself. Whether it was when I sold DELL 6 months ago, and to see it double, or when I got pumped into buying DIXS. Blame yourself, noone else. Learn from you mistakes, and move on with life. The stock market is just a game. Enjoy it, but don't become obsessed because you lost one. Everyone does. Here's hoping Tim someday makes his way back here.
