Anyhow, on the subject of Stroustrup and Pascal

He also dislikes Java. Asking the inventor of a language about other languages is like asking McDonald what they think of Burger King, or asking Richard Stallman what he thinks of commercial software.

I got that quote from the The Design and Evolution of C++ by Stroustrup. I think it was part of the introduction or at least the first page or so of the first chapter. Great book.
