Mark,

Well said. Just wanted you to know I've been reading the book you recommended "Conversations with God", and it is as good as you said it was. I wish I had been ready for something like this ten years ago, but I wasn't, and that's what time is for. Mr.Walsch puts some otherwise complicated ideas into commonsense 'soulfood' form. I always knew there was no reason for eating bitter pills. Thanks again for the recommendation, and I repeat it here to all.

Peace,
Darrin

P.S. The book might make a nice Christmas gift for family and friends, no?

I did not respond to that other post because I would then be forced to say that I
thought you were not totally honest, IMO, with your statement that you were only
engaging in brevity. I thought the higher road was to not engage down a path that
would only escalate into a potentially conflict increasing scenario. (I only mention it
now, to answer your comments) I saw no upside in pursuing it.

Have it your way Mark, but you are wrong. I meant every word of it with all sincereity. My time is too precious for empty words. My work for God too important, for enfaging in brevity.

As to your comments on my contradicting myself as to fellowship here it is again.

Secondly, you misunderstand friendship as it was intended by Sturgeon. In Christianity
it means to fellowship.
Thirdly. I stand with the Word of God which commands us not to have fellowship, you
know Mark, hang out and pal around... with God haters. We are to be a light in
darkness, not to join in the darkness
And when that light is constantly and blatantly rejected, we are to kick the dust off our feet and be gone!

I'll make it a little more clear just for you Mark:
For a Christian to have fellowship is to say in the english slang, hang out, and pal around with one another ( I was using those terms so as you would understand them.) Christians do that all the time with one another, because we have so much in common, even Christ as our Lord and Saviour. We are commanded Not to hang out with, and pal around with God haters.... in the gen.public's understanding of friendship. That was my point.

There was no contradiction at all. Just another example of your misunderstandings or maybe just again your trying to put words in a Christians mouth.

As for my brand of spirituality, I am very comfortable with it. I repeat, that anything
leads to love and tolerance is of god, anything that doesnt, isnt. I leave it to you to
decide where yours fits in.

I'm glad for you Mark.

Mine fits like a glove, right into the entire inerrant Holy word of God.

Sincerely,
Shalom...><>
