Anybody who trades stocks knows that the markets can head down. And when they do they tend to take a lot of stocks with them. So if the market turns, you have to take that into account. A call is a good starting point if you like the call, but managing the trade is each trader's job. You can't sit there like you're brain dead and say "Gee the stocks heading south but Tim said it was going up, so I'm holding." Get real, people!
