MALL's hidden value...

MALL owns 82% of UBID after IPO. That translates into 0.73 shares of UBID for each share of MALL you own.

Let's assume UBID has the same market cap as EBAY.

UBID = EBAY = $4.6 billion
* There are 8.9 million shares of UBID outstanding.
$4.6 billion / 8.9 million = $516 per share of UBID
* MALL owns 73% of UBID after IPO and MALL has 10 million shares outstanding
$516 * 0.73 * (8.9 million / 10) = $353 per share of MALL

Conclusion:

There is potentially $353 per share hidden value in each share of MALL (not counting MALL's own business) if UBID gets the same market cap as EBAY. Of course, we all know UBID had HIGHER revenues than EBAY last quarter ($15.3 million by UBID vs $12.9 million by EBAY). Lastly, MALL is a profitable company on its own and its own value has not been accounted for in my calculation.

Interesting calculations isn't it? Let's hope Merril Lynch gets off their lazy butts and pushes the IPO forward. Good luck all!!
