Okay....

But could companies set their cookies to be shared, eg. Playbabe.com, ToyCars.com & Makemoney.NET, these guys wanted to share surfing habits of members between these sites that were owned by separate private and or public companies. Could they do this with COOKIES?

Disclaimer:
I don't know if these sites exsist, this was for an example only.

Brad,

How difficult would it be to add a user editable comment field to the bookmarks. I would be _very_ happy if I could put an 8-character comment behind each bookmark to remind me why I am watching that particular thread.

Regards,

Tom

Brad, is this statement still true?

And have you seen go2net.com I noticed you just joined yesterday at 6:43 p.m.

Apparently anyone can now access anyones' profile if a subject they post on appears on the go2net site http://go2net/
