Gabriel, what happens if they don't post $.31?
our "old man" thinks they'll post slightly above consensus, if not dead on. Kumar, i believe, places them in the same range. what happens to the stock price if so? what do you think?

That will be deadmeat if that is the case. The tech sector will be slaughtered. The FED will not raise interest rate, and the market will go down to early September level and you will be able to get DELL at 40 3/4.

DELL will selloff for sure. The higher it goes, the more dramatic the selloff should go.

Whisper number is at 0.30+, which calls a 20% Q over Q earning growth. When was the last time that DELL posted such spectacular growth? Not in years. Can they achieve so in a bad economic environment? No way.

0.27 is a good number, IMHO, and I believe that they should hit 0.28-0.29.

BUT 0.27 means that DELL should go down to high 40s. 0.28 = 50-55ish; 0.29 = 60ish. 0.30 or +, short term stop at 78 3/4 and then hit a long downward road to 60s. If they miss, straight flush to low 30s (no chance at all).:)
