Dale, I have shorted BB stocks thru dlj, although they are rarely "available" for shorting. I shorted AENG thru them and a few others.e myth about canadians being the only ones able to short BB stocks is as much of a myth as the longs screaming "call yur certs, the squeeze is coming" Also opening a short account at a canadian brokerage is not available to US residents, ( i have tried) There are obviously ways to get around this, but hardly worth the trouble to me
