Shannon:

re <<even a $0.03 surprise sounds high.>>

I don't care to get caught up in the guessing game here. But one thing I find interesting is Intel is indicating a very strong quarter and Dell has to be their biggest customer, (Compaq uses AMD and Cyrix while Dell is exclusively an Intel shop).

Intel is ALWAYS conservative in their forward looking guidance and I find it hard to believe that Intel is having a bang up quarter without a similar performance by Dell.

Best Regards,

Greg Gimelli

The all important devilish whisper. The eps expected is .27. DELL has already pre announced an upside surprise. .30+ is on the higher side.Remember, its all in the call. .29 could do it. This is not a prediction.
