I know facts aren't your forte, but the fact is that Quayle served in the National Guard for six years. In the 60s, young men could serve in the "Guards" for 6 or be drafted and serve in Nam for 2.

Which one do you think everybody lined up for?

Try telling that to those who were there and to the ones who got activated, and to the ones who lost their lives, Dip***t
