M, I had trouble understanding what you were getting at. But, I don't short stocks. I do buy puts and have some on about a dozen stocks and indices right now. Intel is not now nor has it been one for several years. I did own a long Intel/short Motorola paired trade for several years and an Intel Leap Buy/Write and a spread conversion for awhile in my income account, but those were all many moons ago.

I think that Intel is a decent company, but scammy in the way they report. If a quarter has 6 pieces of news, 3 good and 3 bad, they put the 3 positive spin pieces in the headlines to sucker folks in. Every quarter it is the same thing. They aren't quite as bad as Micron, but they're pretty bad.
