Stitch, what's up with Western Digital? The whole storage sector is doing well today, but Western Digital is doing very well. Are you still short? I was reading yesterday an analyst report on Quantum and they cited three weeks inventory, but continuing over capacity.

It does seem like the component suppliers will do the best from the situation. Hutchinson is up again. I like their positioning, but fear the price is getting ahead of itself. Read-rite is up. I'm tempted to buy some read-rite options. The November 15 calls look like an interesting risk at 1/4. If there is any real news behind the Western Digital rise involving internally developed projects vs. IBM, it should be very good for Read-rite.

Perhaps there's something coming from Comdex to explain this?

Regards,

Mark
