George, It sounds like your computer screen looks pretty much like mine <g>. I certainly envy you your cable mode. The telephone companies and cable systems in this area have been very far behind the curve in rolling out faster connecting internet technology. Are you running Windows 98 with your computer. I have found the FAT 32 files seem to have reduced my filled disk space considerably.

Multitasking is more a function of bandwith and memory. I know I upgraded to 98meg or RAM and found a lot better performance. It may be the programs I use that have to pull lots of information from my drives. When working on client files the HDD seems to start up to pull more information out every other minute or so. This of course could be more a function of the programs I am using.

OT though, how does the basketball season look for KU. As a MU Alum I try to follow it as much as I can. I have been to busy so far this year to check things out though.
