I think the part about the cost reductions and layoffs will be taken well. The debt, shares, and asset sales to finance future plans should remove worry. You've got to especially like the part about bringing return to shareholders starting in 1999, and the road show which is happening starting on Thursday! I too am surprised at the speed with which they put this together. This is a real "thinking" company, that is why you own it. Wonder if Wall Street will react positively here. Certainly, these measures would seem to alleviate the short- and mid- term worry which has hit this stock.
