He had shorted GERN before the big pop to the upside? I was ticked I missed the upside jump but I remember very well how GERN played out last time it ramped so I thought it was a no-brainer to ride it back down. Easy money either way imo and that's rare. What REALLY surprised me was all the longs who were hyping GERN after the stock doubled. They echoed so well the YHOO thread on GERN last time that co. announced big news. I'm looking forward to the next time it happens ;-)
