Thanks for the help, Randall, wish I'd seen your earlier posts. SI is great for getting advice out to others, but sometimes reading ALL the posts on a thread can be a bit more research than seems reasonable for the task at hand.

BTW, though, my problem with Spartan didn't come from NFSC, it came from a MM named Wagner. Bottom line is that I really don't care who acts as the MM since I can't direct my own order flow, and I expect to be "skimmed"(*) by whoever handles the transaction. What I can't tolerate is my broker not going to battle for me when the MM goes down and refuses to report out orders already received. That made me angry.

(*) -ever notice that drug dealers "skim," while bankers and brokers "employ the use of a spread?" Similarly, crooked politicians and cops "get kickbacks and bribes" while brokers are "reimbursed for order flow?" I think it is all in the vocabulary. <G>
