Comdex - Marketing

The major reason companies shell out the big bucks to participate in Comdex is to gain exposure, lots of exposure.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the double-decker booth at Comdex will be to showcase an Embassy facade, similar to the image depicted at Wave's site. Lining the top of the Embassy would be flags from major countries through out the world. On a separate wall, diplomat license plates containing names of OEMs and content providers that have already signed up would be prominently displayed along with a few blank ones saying "Your Company Here".

A towering booth decorated like an Embassy is a sure fire way to gain attention. I'm no marketing expert, but this sure sounds like a fantastic way to draw a crowd and get extensive media coverage.

This is getting more exciting by the day...
