Stitch, what have you heard about the quality of RDRT's 4.3GB products vis a vee the Japanese (TDK, Alps)?
---------
I finally spoke with Jane Conn after trading voice mail messages for awhile.
You and Yogi were right, management will not talk about yields; no matter which way i asked the question, she had the same answer; RDRT is satisfied with where they "currently stand on yields, however there is always room for improvement"

Jane indicated that RDRT was shipping 4.3GB/platter products to WDC, Maxtor and Samsung.

She would not tell me if Maxtor had overtaken WDC as #1 customer. However, her comment that WDC "is still an important customer" tells me that Maxtor has taken the #1 spot.
