Representative valid reasons to be skeptical about VLNC:

1. Relevant transcript of 11/10 Q&A from hedge fund manager and market commentator James Cramer on VLNC:

"BostonJamin: What do you think about Valence Technologies sudden rise?

Creme_Delacramer: "Very low quality stock; i would sell it " thestreet.com

2. Unresolved financial issues and production delays that open the door to competition.

3. Flippant answers or recycled gloss by VLNC cheerleaders to good questions regarding capacity and profitability.

It should be a reasonable concern that the street has valid reasons to consider this company to be low quality. Moreover, the analysis and calculations by FMK have been off on a consistent basis.

Roberts' and Shugart's addition to the BoD mitigates the credibility and quality issue to some extent. The insider purchases are net positive. Nonetheless, this stock carries plenty of odd baggage. The unquestioned zeal by long time VLNC holders despite the tremendous opportunity cost of their tied up capital as other stocks have appreciated adds to the strangeness.

Keep asking tough questions Greg. Don't expect much different in response from "I would just leave it at that if these large numbers make you uncomfortable" and "it doesn't matter if its 1800 cells or batteries or frisbees ...."

At some point soon, if you keep asking tough questions, the pro-VLNC crowd will get very nasty. : )
