Mohan...Makes sense to me..as long as CPQ has a channel they won't EVER keep up with DELL...any gains over the internet will be subtracted from the VAR losses......I am noticing a certain amount of Bears on this thread here tonight, although I admit I don't visit here as much as I do around earnings time, but these guys are going to be disappointed.....DELL is not only going to blow out whisper numbers, but I expect their going-forward statements are going to be so bright you're gonna have to wear sunglasses to read it:-):-):-).

What do you think their number will be tomorrow?...I'm going with .32 per share.

Regards, George

Mohan, >>>We know it is all bull, for starters look at the inventory turns, naaah not gonna cut it.CPQ is all about wasted assets,<<<

This guy Pfeiffer scares the hell out of me. He reminds me a lot of those tough guy CEOs who shoot first and asks questions later. I don't know much about this guy - only from the little sound bites on CNBC - when he is being interviewed. Doesn't seem to have any sense of humor - no charm whatsoever. How did he get to where he is now - anybody know? He almost destroyed PC sales last year all by himself - when he stuffed the channels with more PCs than could be sold. Of, course he got help from IBM - Lou Gerstner - another take no prisoner type of CEO.

Only, if you are a tough guy - you gotta know what you are doing. Gerstner may have a clue - but I don't think pfeiffer knows what the hell he is doing. All I know is he is very ambitious. He wants to be and hungers to be the biggest at any cost. Just the kind of guy to bring down the BTO model - with everybody losing.

Sorry to butt in here - just adding my 2 cents.

Regards,

Mary Cluney
