<Iomega's Zip system is the market leader, storing about 100 megabytes per disk. The main challenger is the Imation SuperDisk, which was formerly called the 3M LS-120 drive: it can store 120 megabytes per disk. Sony is just about to ship a HiFD (high-capacity floppy disk) which increases that to 200 megabytes, but next year, Imation will respond with a double-density 240-megabyte drive. Unlike the Zip drive, both the Imation and Sony models can read and write ordinary 3.5-inch floppies as well.>
