On Global Warming --

I have seen such articles, Michael. Will get you a citation, when I have time.

And did you check the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Times? Don't they qualify as "major newspapers"?

And NO, it is NOT beyond debate.

Hey Michael,

Conservatives' insistence that the media has a left-leaning bias is simply incorrect. Ever check out the media's coverage of NAFTA, which was severely skewed against labor and in favor of international finance's pro-free-trade position. And obviously you haven't been following the story surrounding Gina Kolata, science reporter for the New York Times, who has written high-profile stories casting doubt on issues such as global warming, environmental factors causing breast cancer, and the validity of AIDS research.

>> The liberal slant in ALL major newspapers is beyond debate.

And yet here you are debating it. Reductio ad absurdum, so early in our conversation.

>> Have you ever seen an article in a major newspaper which has cast a doubt on the Global Warming issue.

Well, yes. Many. Until recently, most reporters didn't believe that the industry-supported 'science' countering the evidence for warming was the blatant fraud it is. Personally, I get my science from scientists, not from the newspaper or TV. Since the mainstream media started being controlled by boneheaded barbie millionaires you never know what they will say. Except Clinton is evil and Starr is good. That much you can count on.

Actually, I didn't know climate problems *were* a liberal issue, but I'll take your word for it. After all, why shouldn't conservatives define what liberals believe. That's so much easier than knowing what you are talking about.

Cheers,
Chaz
