Hi bobby,
Today, Thursday, is going to be a critical day to follow. Getting a sizeable divergence in my indicators, this usually means something is about to happen.

Robert Ursa,

I agree with your conclusions that we are finishing up wave 4 in the 5 wave bond rally that began in May of this year, and will soon begin wave 5, the conclusion of which will be of great import.

In the meantime, these wave 4 completions are terribly difficult to pinpoint, and they generally last twice as long as expected. Thus, i have to remain short term bearish on bond prices, understanding that the completion of this 4th wave could easily take 30 yr. rates back to the 5.6 area (location of wave 1 ending.)

But oh, what an opportunity it will be to short the bonds after the 5th wave ends. However, that opportunity will probably not come til next year at the earliest.

As for deflation worries, I expect only rumblings, and don't believe it will materialize in the forseeable future, and expect inflation will again be the concern by summer of '99.

Regards,

David
