Whoa... I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I hope that all turns out well.

The reason I was attracted to this thread in the first place was because of what you touted it not to be - mainly that this was not for people who "pump and dump" nor for any daytraders. Recently, it turns out that you seem to pick solid companies, pump them up with "rumors" and then when you have hit your profit threshold you become nervous and sell. The recent spate of postings where you touted NEWZ all morning and told people to hold only to turn around and sell yourself was deceiving to say the least. I can get that and more or should I say "less" from Tokyo Joe/Mex. At least I know what I get there - bottom feeding on leftovers and scraps and hoping to get out before him. By the way, I wasn't in any of your picks.

I like your original concept for this thread. I hope it keeps going under its original mantra.

Personally, I'm in WAXS, SNDK both in stocks and long options. WAXS - low PEG, high growth in revenues and income, positive recent news, wise takeovers of other companies, and some recent noise (see Yahoo stock talk). SNDK - lots of positive recent news - product introductions and partnering, strong cash flow, no debt, market leader in flash memory chips. Both stocks have been beaten down and have made a recent push back.

Geeeeezzzzz, a guy takes a few days off.....
I guess ya' never know what to expect.

I noticed that the guys that started this eruption have an awful lot of posts on another board. Wonder if earlier remarks brought that attack on?

Regardless, and it's history now, when the sides are chosen and the lists are made, put me down with the Friends of Tim.

and to you folks that stirred the pot, ES&D

Please, Tim, don't reply to any of these messages. Your father is dying and it gave you time to stop and think if there was something you could have done or can still do to improve the situation. I'm sure you still read some of the posts. It is hard after thousands of posts to stop (too many final messages). You became attached to the SI. But you have to stop.
I have to admit that I do my own research and never invested in any of this thread, or any other thread's picks. But I have read many of your posts and saw how you tried to reply to all the messages to the best of your knowledge (latest example in my case: broker recommendation). You're a special guy, and if the SI cannot control the morons that attack you, they don't deserve to have you. I would love to have your email. I know we probably live close to each other so maybe I can help. Best of luck in anything you do. Marty
