Found on the Fool thread, but credibility not vouched for by me: Subject: A thought or two Number: of 188 Author: ChipLee no profile \| no interview Date: 11/10/98 10:52 PM Greetings all, Just a thought or two on GMGC's attitude in general...I have been a subsriber to Portico since Day 1...1300 minutes a month...and with the exception of a few easily, and quickly, corrected flaws, the system has served me well...I am not a mobile professional...I am a priest with two busy, rural congregations and Portico keeps me in touch constantly....I have been impressed with customer service and blown away by Steve Markman...he called me last month out of the clear blue sky, just to check on how the service was working for me...he was intrigued that I was not the mobile professional that Portico is aimed at...and we talked for about 30 minutes....just last week I got a call from the NY Times, which is doing an article on Portico, asking if I would be willing to do an interview about the system, etc....Newsweek is also on deck....The bottom line here is that this company has got its act together and is thinking a long way down the road....I'm happy with them in my portfolio... Chip Of course, if the NYT publishes an article about GMGC, it is likely to be in Circuits, a special section on computers, etc., published on Thursdays.
