annie: can't respond now; must sleep...i look at mm windows and 1 minute charts, when i think they're going to tip their hand...i never expect to get the very top or bottom...unless about 18 signals are in alignment, I'm NOT MAKING MY MOVE. sorry, if this is not helpful...someday, we'll all be on dsl, with trade chat at times like the next two days...plus i don't have time right now to pull up the CONTEXT of last earnings' pattern. Perhaps that's helpful to you...let me know how you do it, and perhaps i can be more on target to what you might be thinking about.
